Job Purpose
To oversee and manage cleaning operations while ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and client satisfaction. This role includes supervising cleaning staff, maintaining cleaning equipment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Experience in pest control will be considered an advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Operations Management
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily cleaning activities across multiple sites.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure service standards and client satisfaction.
- Develop cleaning schedules and allocate tasks efficiently.
- Monitor cleaning equipment conditions and report maintenance needs.
- Team Supervision and Training
- Supervise and manage a team of cleaners, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Train new staff in cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- Address performance issues and provide coaching to improve team efficiency.
- Customer Service and Client Liaison
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns and feedback.
- Ensure timely resolution of client complaints and maintain strong client relationships.
- Health and Safety Compliance
- Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations in cleaning operations.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective measures when required.
- Inventory and Resource Management
- Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate with procurement to order necessary items and prevent shortages.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cleaning Supervisor.
- License: Valid driving license is mandatory.
- Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Experience in pest control is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks and conduct site visits as required.
